PENSACOLA BEACH

Where

The Pensacola Beach area tempts beach lovers with a stunning array of white sand beaches, which include two dog beaches and Opal Beach, a hidden escape in Gulf Islands National Seashore. But none is more famous than Casino Beach, sited at 20 Casino Beach Blvd., Pensacola Beach, FL 32561.

Vibe

Casual, vibrant, lively hub of Pensacola Beach. At Casino Beach, the east side of the pier is notorious for being the most festive zone on Santa Rosa Island, with peak season and special events drawing crowds. There, open alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation. But Casino Beach caters to families as well, with no alcohol permitted on the beach west of the Pier.

See, feel

You’ll know you’ve arrived at Casino Beach when you see the iconic, 160-foot-tall beach ball water tower. The Gulfside Pavilion sits nearby, with its spacious stage and benches hinting at the energetic entertainment it provides. Reaching far over the surf, the Pier promises still more fun.
The beach is a sugary-white wonder, soft on the toes and easy on the eyes, and beyond it, the Gulf is a bewitching emerald hue.
As you can imagine, it’s a popular retreat, with friends bobbing up and down in the surf, sun-worshipers catching some rays, and kids playing in the sand.
While the Gulf of Mexico tends to be calm, winds and offshore systems can cause rough conditions.

On or near the beach

Relaxing on the shore and swimming are favorite ways to enjoy the beach. The Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier is a draw for anglers and delivers blockbuster panoramic views—particularly at sunset.
Fuel the fun with quick bites at the pier; coastal-inspired, beachside dining at the  Casino Bar & Grille; or upscale, creative cuisine at Drift.
The Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach welcomes beachgoers with free concerts like the Bands on the Beach series; movies, and live entertainment.

Accessibility

Pensacola Beach offers five different Mobi-mat paths on five separate beaches. Casino Beach has one located near the Public Safety Building and another near The Dock Bar. Casino Beach is wheelchair accessible and ADA Compliant.
